    Triple treat for me! Of course I knew this was a tinkered verse from the renga (I haven’t lost THAT much gray matter!) I like the leaky boat better than the empty boat. I wonder, did you use the empty rowboat(in the renga) to echo the image of an open clam shell? Just curious.
