I didn’t know geese apparently wreak havoc with corn until reading the haiku for this prompt. Hmmm…

Geese have to eat too!
Lovely. I recently heard that people use geese themselves as alarms. They are cheap guardians.
They would certainly scare the you-know-what out of people! 😉
