YEP! I’m already blue about the whole season, I feel like it squeaked by me. It was dark at 8pm today for goodness sake! I am really relating to this haiku.:)-
You and I are on the opposite side of the darkness thing: I hate the long, long days of summer and can’t wait for the long, long nights of winter to set in!

Well, yes. But our summer has be “remarkably” mild. At least for us. More balmy days than triple digits, which is unusual for the valley. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for a cool September and an entire absence of Indian Summer.
Oh no, surely it’s not time for summer to go just yet!
Already? I would have yelled too, if school had started this early – many years ago, when I was in school! 🙂
My daughter, who is a teacher, has to go back on the 29th. Students follow on the 4th. I know, it’s crazy!

The School bell rings? That early in summer? Here it will last for another four weeks before the schools start again.
I love the start of school again. It means cooler weather is right around the corner.
It might be a broad corner, however! 😉
