I ask this question with respect: why daydream in church? Why not a walk in the forest? Or a celebratory breakfast with friends? (As a philosopher, I am great with questions, but not so hot on answers).
I understand. My question arose from ambivalent feelings of a certain antipathy toward organized religion with a deep sense of comfort in some religious settings. It is hard to sort out sometimes.
I’m impressed with the dedication and sytematic display of a daily haiku here.
Not quite sure I can grasp today’s contribution though. Reluctantly in church?
Nicely done!
Good one!! Memories.l..I used to zone out and daydream.
Great humor … 🙂
Yup — been there too. 🙂
Good escape, Mark. 🙂 I compose on the iPad so I would be more noticeable. I do jot down a part of a poem if one comes to me wherever I am.
..
Last Sunday I noticed a woman playing on her iPad the whole time—song, sermon, you name it! 😉

Without going into excruciating detail, I am living in a situation where occasional church attendance is obligatory.

Yes, it is hard to sort out. I’ll probably spend the rest of my life trying, though, even if my church attendance is sporadic. 😉
A good way to escape 😀
Made me snort a laugh!
