There are many, many springs in Florida, Mark. You should maybe bring your family and visit. They are cold springs. Usually about 72 degrees year round. I can appreciate the reality of this haiku.
i had a dream of moving to the coast of oregon or washington….of leaving the heat and dust of the southwest far behind. i had a dream of moist cool air and lush green. of moderate yearly temperatures and blue skies. sadly it seems there is no where to run to avoid the magnitude of climate disruption. the canary in the coal mine has been warning us for decades. and still, even in such dire extremes, heat domes, fire storms, hurricanes and severe drought- the denial continues.
