Your words picture a world…. I can hear the birches scrape their throats and picture some sort of ‘Ent’ (the trees from Tolkien’s ‘Lord of the Rings’ books… are they called ‘ent’ in the English version too???
Oh, yes, they are Ents in English too. I loved the Ents from the time I first met them when I read the trilogy in college.
Even I thought of those royal Ents reading this haiku !
